Thank you so much to our three fantastic bands, who worked so hard to entertain us all night long!
Five Three Oh is an acoustic, three-part harmony band, weaving together melodic voices and tranquil guitar. Featuring our very own office goddess, Michael Ann Pedone, Five Three Oh plays original music as well embracing classic pop from the 60's and 70's. Eilleen Jaffe and Chris Pilon round out the joyous trio.
Smoke Shovelers are a Davis duo. Two compelling voices, a banjo, a guitar and many other acoustic instruments are expertly merged by Roger Kunkel and our very own Rusi Gustafson aka Mister G. The music draws heavily on the American Roots sounds of folk and bluegrass while interpreting rock and punk tunes in their own gallant style.
The West Nile Ramblers are a well known, local, high-energy band that plays a style of Western Swing that they call Western Garage and Country Noir. Their danceable sound combines gypsy folk, rock and jazz. I think we all had a great time rocking out to their rockabilly tunes last night!
